Wir waren drei Tage mit KTM 390 Adventure R, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 und Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr unterwegs: Autobahn, Nassfeldpass, Monte Zoncolan und Schotter inklusive.
Kurzfassung:
– KTM 390 Adventure R: mit rund 176 Kilogramm die leichteste, klarer Offroad-Fokus, viel Elektronik, aber ein drehzahlhungriger Einzylinder.
– Himalayan 450: 17-Liter-Tank, unter vier Liter Verbrauch, traktormäßiger Motor und das entspannteste Gesamtpaket.
– Brixton Storr 500: Zweizylinder, starkes KYB-Fahrwerk, gute Ausstattung, dafür das höchste Gewicht und eher gemütlicher Offroad-Charakter.
Weniger Leistung, weniger Gewicht – aber genug für die große Tour?

We spent three days with the KTM 390 Adventure R, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr on highways, alpine passes and gravel roads.
In short:
– KTM 390 Adventure R: around 176 kg, the lightest and most offroad-focused, packed with electronics but needs revs.
– Himalayan 450: 17-litre tank, fuel consumption below four litres, torquey “tractor-style” engine and the most relaxed all-rounder.
– Brixton Storr 500: twin-cylinder engine, strong KYB suspension, good equipment, but the heaviest and more laid-back offroad.
Less power, less weight – still enough for a proper adventure?
